Mind on Fire will perform and present an evening of rapture, grief, walls of sound, and having a sexy voice.

Featuring:

The Arm, a Twin Peaks tinged, electro-acoustic trio making loud and beautiful sounds at the intersection of ritual chant and electric feedback. LaTeisha Melvin, an award-winning dancer and educator moving in concert with our chamber ensemble and ecstatically with herself. Rohan Pathare, a digital artist of immense creativity placing his ghostly image inside old family videos reacting to his movements in real time.

Alex Vaughan. Titled “Manna:” music of multiphonics, shouts, glass bottles, speed, mania, and celebration for sacred food. Tariq Ravelomanana. A nocturne of three Infinity Knives tracks, scored for chamber ensemble - nostalgia, sadness, and cool jams. Sky Macklay. “It has come to my attention that I have a sexy voice.” Come hear it.
